Is Rafeeq really free?

Yes. Rafeeq is free for everyone, with no ads, and we intend to keep it that way for its entire lifetime, In Sha Allah.

How are prayer times calculated?

On your phone, from your location, using established calculation methods. You can choose the method, the Asr juristic method (Hanafi or Shafi), and a high-latitude rule, and adjust the Hijri date for your local moon sighting.

Does it work without internet?

The Qur’an text ships with the app and prayer times are calculated on your device, so both keep working offline once your location is set. Recitations stream from the internet.

What data does Rafeeq use?

Your location is used to calculate prayer times and the Qibla direction. Release builds use Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics to understand usage and fix crashes. See our Privacy Policy for details. Read the Privacy Policy.

Is there an iPhone version?

Rafeeq is available on Google Play today, and the App Store version is coming soon, In Sha Allah.

How can I help?

Make dua for us, share Rafeeq with family and friends, request a feature or report a bug. Rafeeq is open source, so developers are welcome to contribute on GitHub too.

Take Rafeeq
with you.

Your Qur’an, your prayers and your Qibla, wherever you are.
